Deposits & withdrawals

Updated 4/29/2026

Deposits and withdrawals are disabled during the closed-beta phase. Granbay runs on virtual cash today and real-money operations only activate after the Sprint 11/12 validation gate passes (per ADR-014 / ADR-015).

When will real money open?

After 30+ users have actively traded for 4+ consecutive weeks. The validation gate measures real engagement on the existing virtual-cash mechanics. If it passes, real-money infrastructure (KYC, payment rails, custody) activates without changing the trading code paths.

Top virtual performers receive permanent referral-tier upgrades, recognition badges, and 90 days fee-free real-money trading at the transition. There is no cash conversion of virtual balances (ADR-016).

What happens to my virtual balance?

Virtual balances persist through the beta. They reset on the configured reset day (announced in advance) so the platform starts real-money operations on a clean slate. You don't lose access — the balance just cannot be withdrawn or converted to fiat.
