Two-factor authentication (2FA)

Two-factor authentication adds a second layer to login. Granbay uses TOTP (Time-based One-Time Password) — compatible with any standard authenticator app.
Setting it up
Go to /settings/security and tap Enable 2FA. Scan the QR code with your authenticator app and enter the 6-digit code to confirm. After this, every login requires the current 6-digit code in addition to your password.
Recovering access
If you lose access to your authenticator, contact support via /help/new with category 'account'. We require email-based verification + a manual review before resetting 2FA — for security reasons we cannot do this faster.
